Printing books since 1991
Fenix is a Kyiv book printer with its own production. From a single author's copy to runs of tens of thousands, we make books, catalogues, albums and magazines end to end.
It all began in Kyiv in the early 1990s. In 1991 Oleksii Khramov joined the Fenix publishing house, took the lead a year later — and still runs the team today. In 1995 the group opened its own production site — the Sofiya book-and-magazine printing house in Makariv.
Over more than thirty years we have grown from small-format presses to the full-format Heidelberg offset machine and a modern Ricoh digital line. Today two sites are at work — an office in Kyiv and the printing house in Makariv — and the shop floor turns out 4.5 to 7 original editions every week.
We enjoy working with people who make real books — authors, publishers, museums and parishes who put their own name behind what they publish.

Offset — Heidelberg Speedmaster SM 102
A full-format press: a single sheet up to 72×102 cm holds several book pages at once. It prints both sides in one pass and keeps the colour identical from the first copy to the last. This is our choice for large runs — from a few hundred copies. Our fleet includes several Heidelberg Speedmaster SM 102 machines in different configurations (102-10Ри and 102-2Р).
Digital — Ricoh Pro C5300 + black-and-white press
A modern Ricoh Pro C5300 colour press from 2024. It prints without making plates, so even a few copies are worth ordering, and a finished edition can be ready within hours. It handles heavy stock up to 360 gsm and large sheets up to 33×126 cm. For black-and-white runs there is a separate digital press (model to be confirmed). For short runs — from a single copy.
What we're proud of
Grand Prix, “Best Book of Ukraine”, 2018
The top award of the state competition (run by the State Committee for TV and Radio) for the full-colour two-volume edition of the New Testament — the Gospel and the Apostle. That year 122 books from 44 publishers competed.

We present our work at the country's main book event — the Lviv International BookForum.
Working with the public sector
A participant in the ProZorro public procurement system: we print books, educational and methodological literature and documentation for educational institutions across Ukraine.
We came through the hardest of times
In March 2022 the production site in Makariv ended up in a combat zone — the warehouse with finished books was destroyed. As soon as it was possible to return, we began rebuilding on our own: we repaired the Heidelberg offset press, renewed the binding equipment and kept the core of the team. Within two years we were back to the pre-war pace — 4.5–7 editions a week.
